Why do strategies that "should" work just... don't?

Why does the same feedback land well with one person and completely shut another down?

Most professional training wasn't built to account for neurodivergence. That's not a criticism — it's just where most fields have been. And the gap shows up in practice every day: a client who can't seem to follow through, an employee who shuts down under pressure, a student who disengages the moment things get hard. Not because they're resistant. Because their brains work differently — and we were never taught how to account for that.

This session introduces the 5 Contexts for Understanding Neurodiversity — a foundational framework used in the Neuro-Informed Institute's professional certification program. You'll learn to recognize these patterns in the people you support, and walk away with language and a lens you can start applying immediately.

This is not about diagnoses, and it is not about labels. It is about getting a clearer picture of what's happening underneath the surface in many professional environments— and what is required for professional excellence.

This is a live 75 minute preview of the Neuro-Informed Institute's full professional training program. Attendees get first access to Founding Cohort enrollment details and pricing.

What You'll Learn

Six takeaways from 75 minutes

  • Understand the 5 Contexts where neurodivergence manifests in life and work -- and how that explains what’s driving unwanted behaviors
  • Recognize why willpower-based strategies fail many clients and employees — and what to offer instead
  • Identify neuronormative bias in your own practice or management style, and start seeing its impact more clearly
  • Reframe "resistant" or "unmotivated" behavior with a lens that holds up across coaching, clinical, workplace, and educational settings
  • Understand why training alone doesn't create lasting change — and what the research says about pairing it with coaching
  • Get a first look at the Neuro-Informed Institute's professional certification program and the Founding Cohort opportunity
Who This Is For

Built for professionals who serve people

This session is for any professional who has ever felt underprepared for the nuances and complexity of the people they serve — and is ready to do something about it. More specifically:

  • Coaches — executive, business, life, parent, ADHD, health, and others — seeking a more rigorous, neuro-affirming framework
  • Therapists, counselors, and psychologists who want to understand their neurodivergent clients more deeply
  • HR leaders and people managers who are ready to lead neurodivergent employees with competence, not just good intentions
  • Educators, school staff, and administrators who need something more practical than awareness training
  • Healthcare providers — OTs, SLPs, pediatricians, and others — seeing neurodivergence in their caseloads
  • Anyone in a client- or people-facing role who works with behavior that "doesn't add up" and wants a better lens for it
