Up until now, most of us have done the best we can with what we have—years of training, real expertise, and genuine care. The Neuro-Informed Institute was created because there is an apparent gap in training that needs to be filled.
Elaine Taylor-Klaus, Master Certified Coach and a pioneer at the intersection of neurodiversity and coaching, saw it early: traditional coaching engagements often fail neurodivergent brains—not because clients are resistant, but because classic coaching training doesn’t account for how neurodivergent minds work.
In her landmark Choice Magazine article, “A Brave New World: Neurodiversity-inclusion in coach training” (2022, Vol. 20, No. 3), Elaine argued that coaching not informed by neurodiversity can cause distress and damage a client’s self-esteem. She took a stand: neurodiversity-inclusion must become a core competency of the coaching industry.
The Neuro-Informed Institute is that stand, made structural and expanded: a serious entity that trains and certifies professionals to serve and support today’s clients and employees in a way that actually meets their needs, and enhances their capacity.
Enrollment is now open for the first cohort of the Neuro-Informed Institute. Join the professionals setting the standard for neuro-informed practice.
