The Neuro-Informed Institute methodology is built on the Impact Model—a proprietary framework organized around a classic coaching model infused with neurodiversity fundamentals. Foundations of Neuro-Informed Practice
The framework underneath everything else. This 14-hour standalone course covers what neurodiversity and neurodivergence actually are, the 5 Challenges of Neurodivergence, how to mitigate the impact of neuronormative bias, and key coaching frameworks and communication techniques for professional practice.
No prior coaching background is required. Foundations stands on its own for any helping, education, management or leadership professional interested in neuro-informed practice. It serves as the required gateway to all advanced tracks.
Phase 1 Overview
Move from recognizing neurodivergence to responding with greater clarity, accuracy and confidence—without relying on labels or one-size-fits-all strategies.

For family practitioners who support families of complex kids, including coaches, therapists, medical providers, tutors and educators. Built on the internationally recognized Sanity School® Certification Program.
Adult Facing
For professionals supporting adults in coaching, healthcare, therapeutic, management or leadership settings, including private practice, executive coaching and workplace accommodation conversations.
Both tracks teach neuro-informed coaching skills that build on the 5 Challenges of Neurodivergence, with emphasis on communication approaches, effective system management, considerations of intersectionality, and the practical application of the Impact Model in real life and work circumstances.
Phase 1 is a prerequisite for Phase 2.

For coaches and therapeutic providers seeking an enhanced professional credential, and for professionals seeking the highest level of proficiency available without formal coach training. Phase 3 transforms knowledge into verified skill through observed coaching, small-group mentoring, practice and feedback with ICF-credentialed faculty.
Phases 1 and 2 are prerequisites for Phase 3.
